SOMNATH SWABHIMAN PARV HELD IN OLD GOA; CM SAWANT, SHRIPAD NAIK PRESENT

OLD GOA: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant joined the Somnath Swabhiman Parv organised by the Directorate of Art & Culture at Goveshwar Devasthan, Old Goa, on Monday .Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy  Shripad Naik, Cumbharjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai, social worker of Cumbharjua Constituency, Director of Art & Culture  Vivek Naik and other dignitaries were also present at the event.The cultural programme, held at the historic Goveshwar Devasthan, was organised to celebrate regional pride and showcase Goa’s rich artistic traditions.

The Parv featured performances and presentations highlighting the state’s cultural heritage.The Directorate of Art & Culture has been organising such events to promote cultural awareness and encourage community participation in preserving Goan traditions. Dignitaries at the event underlined the importance of fostering cultural self-respect and passing on traditional values to the younger generation.
