Goa, Uttarakhand and Arunachal register wins in Sub Junior Men”s National Hockey Championship

RAJGIR: (Apr 3) Goa, Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh registered wins in their respective matches on the third day of the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Men’s National Championship here on Friday.

In a Division C clash, Goa defeated Hockey Rajasthan 7-0 in Pool B with Karan Kumar (2nd minute, 12th, 44th) scoring a hat-trick. Sahil Pramod (17th), Dilshad Ali (27th), Shreyesh Hundre Changadev (30th) and Ankit (38th) also found the back of the net.

Uttarakhand beat Bengal 5-2 in Division B with Vicky Singh Bohra (1st, 4th) and Govind Singh (7th, 60th) scoring a brace each. Aman Kumar (52nd) scored the other goal for Uttarakhand.
