“Mapusa Fire Team Secures Revora Home, Extinguishes Blaze in Dawn Ops”
Mapusa, April 3 — In a pair of incidents early friday fire and emergency services sprang into action to tackle a fallen tree branch and a tree fire. At 00:02 hrs, a mango tree branch crashed onto a house behind Satpurush Temple in Manshi Wada, Revora. The Mapusa fire brigade, led by Shahid Khan, swiftly responded to ensure no one was hurt.
Just over an hour later, at 01:13 hrs, flames engulfed a tree near Ghumti/Novelty Sports in Mapusa. Sub-officer Omkar Karbotkar and the Mapusa fire team quickly doused the fire, preventing further damage. No casualties were reported in either incident. The fire services’ prompt action averted potential disasters, highlighting their commitment to community safety.
