CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Empowers Future Skilled Workforce
curchorem: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant recently visited the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Cacora, where he interacted with students from various trades, including Sewing Technology, Basic Cosmetology, and Mechanic Diesel. He also met with trainees under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing holistic support to traditional artisans and craftspeople.
During his visit, Dr. Sawant emphasized the importance of industry-ready training, directing ITI staff to enhance interactions with youth and encourage skilling programs. He stressed the need for 100% placements of youths in industries, aligning with the government’s vision of making Goa ‘Skilled, Fit, and Inclusive’ by 2047.
