CIVIL SUPPLIES MAINTAINS THERE IS SUFFICIENT STOCK OF FUEL/LPG
Department of Civil Supply, govt. of Goa has informed the General Public that due to miss communication and rumours on social media of short supply of petrol and diesel at the Retail Outlet (RO), there is great panic among people and vehicle owners have started rushing to RO for fueling the vehicles unnecessarily. This crowding and long queue situation creates Chaos at the RO level thereby creating law and order situation.
The General public at large are hereby informed that there is sufficient stock of Petrol and Diesel at oil terminals for supply and consumers need not panic. There is no disruption in supply of the stock of Petrol and Diesel in the State.
The situation is being monitored at every level of RO, at District and State and of course at National level too. And therefore, there is no need to fear for availability of Petrol and Diesel in State. The stock and supply of Petrol and Diesel will be as was in past without any disruption.
General Public are therefore kindly appeal to avoid unnecessary rushing to Petrol Pumps creating unwarranted fear and anxiety. There is sufficient and regular supply of Petrol and Diesel as well as LPG in the State.
