“BJP Imports MLAs, Can’t Win on Own”: Dr. Ketan Bhatikar

PANAJI: Dr Ketan Bhatikar who is contesting on the Congress ticket from Ponda while reacting to the defection remarks in the state said “Bharatiya Janata Party cannot win on their own as a result they import MLAs from Congress.” BJP alone cannot win elections in Goa and as such BJP imports Congress party leaders and it has been going on since very long.

Reposing faith in the Almighty Creator Dr Bhatikar said “Let me win first with God’s grace and with your support and blessings from everyone and I will show my actions only in 2027 Assembly elections.” He was addressing the media.

He further stated that my voters in Ponda know who is Ketan Bhatikar adding when I contested in the past as an Independent candidate I managed to polled 5,500 to 6,000 votes and as such I always say this openly.”

Bhatikar also revealed that when he expressed that he is inclined towards the Congress party some three months ago, people laughed at him and they even firmly believed that Congress would reject him and deny the party ticket to him. “Now I am contesting on a Congress ticket. adding action speaks louder than words.” he added.

“We will incorporate the best qualities of late Chief minister, Mr Ravi Naik and move ahead.
