Calangute: In a bid to address growing concerns, representatives from the North Goa Rent A Cab Association met with Calangute Traffic Police Inspector to discuss the rampant practice of private vehicles being given on rent without proper licenses. The association emphasized the need for stricter enforcement to ensure fair competition and passenger safety.
The meeting highlighted issues plating licensed cab operators, with many private vehicle owners allegedly offering services without adhering to regulatory norms. “It’s about leveling the playing field,” said an association member. The Traffic PI assured action against unlicensed operators.
