*United Brothers crowned Champions of Mapusa Advocates’ Hard‑Ball Cricket Tournament
Mapusa – 14 March 2026 – United Brothers were crowned Champions of Mapusa Advocates’ Hard‑Ball Cricket Tournament organised by Mapusa Advocates at Chicalim Ground Colvale. the Tournament drew six local sides and a lively crowd Teams were split into two groups, with four teams from each advancing to the semi‑finals and two teams in the final .
in the final match United Brothers won the toss and elected to bowl. Risers scored 24 runs in their 5 overs; United Brothers chased down the total in 2.3 overs to clinch the title and lift the trophy. The winning runs were scored by Adv Vinayak Porob while the mentor of the of the tournament was adv Pankaj Dhabolkar
Man of the Match in the final was awarded to Dattaraj Gauns, who took 4 wickets in one over. Individual honours were awarded to Dattaraj Parab (Man of the Series), Shubham Gadekar (Best Batsman), Raghu Parab (Best Bowler) and Pritesh Shetty (Best Fielder).
