Ponda: Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the Taluka Office of Civil Supplies at 1st Floor, New Municipal Market, Upper Bazar, Ponda, in the presence of MLA, Govind Gaude, Secretary, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, . Sanjiv Gadkar, IAS, Chairperson, Ponda Municipal Council, Shri. Virendra Dhavalikar, Chairman of Rajiv Kala Mandir, Ponda, Ritesh Naik, NRI Commissioner, Shri. Narendra Sawaikar, Director, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Shri. Jayant Tari & others.

the new office is expected to streamline the delivery of essential commodities and services to the people of Ponda. The Taluka Office of Civil Supplies will oversee the implementation of various government schemes, and address grievances related to food and civil supplies.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant highlighted the importance of the new office in ensuring the welfare of the people. He also emphasized the need for effective implementation of government schemes and urged officials to work towards the benefit of the community.
