Institutions urged to nurture Marathi theatre talent”

Vasco: Goa Marathi Academy is always ready to cooperate with other institutions like Om Shri Vishnu Kala Sansthan to keep the art of theatre alive in Marathi theatre and to create today’s new generation of theatre artists, writers and directors, appealed entrepreneur and social worker Chandrakant Gavas. he  was speaking at the inauguration and release ceremony of the new play “Daiv”, produced by the organization and written by Dhruv Kudalkar, on the occasion of the annual celebration of Shri Rashtoli Jai Santoshi Mata Sanstha. Om Shri Vishnu Kala Sansthan Nave Wade Vasco organized a memorial service for late Mandatai Bandekar on the occasion of the annual celebration of Shri Rashtoli Jai Santoshi Mata Sanstha. N. R. B. The inauguration ceremony of the new play “Daiv” produced by Om Shri Vishnu Kala Sansthan and written by Dhruv Kudalkar was held with the courtesy of Group Bandekar, and Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, and entrepreneur Vibhav Joshi.

On this occasion, the chief guests on the stage were entrepreneur and social worker Umesh Salgaonkar, author of the play Dhruv Kudalkar, President of Shri Rashtoli Jai Santoshi Mata Sansthan Tulsidas Patekar, special invitees Eknath Govekar, journalists Bharat Betkekar, Pradeep Naik and other dignitaries. Speaking further on this occasion, Gavas said that Om Shri Vishnu Kala Sansthan has been associated with theatre and bhajan art for many years and is doing great work of doing justice to Marathi theatre through many such cultural activities. Apart from this, it is honoring and acknowledging the work of artists who are connected with our culture. This is also a matter of pride, he said in the end.
Speaking as the chief guest, entrepreneur Umesh Salgaonkar said that today the art of theatre in Marathi theatre has taken a downward turn and it is a matter of admiration that Om Vishnu Kala Sansthan has come forward to give it a new lease of life in such a situation.

He congratulated the institution, saying that they should continue their work in this way. The inauguration ceremony was hosted by the president of the institution, Damodar Kudalkar, and the vote of thanks was given by Mahesh Navelkar. After that, the drama experiment “Daiv” was presented. Artists like Chandrakant Parab, Manoj Valvaikar, Ratnadeep Dhargalkar, Abhay Pednekar, Mahesh Chavan, Damodar Kudalkar, Nandu Redkar, Vinayak Redkar, Shubha Shirodkar and others participated in the musical play “Daiv”.
