“Minister  & Collector Join Forces to Heal Salaulim’s Wounds”

Kushawati: Ms. Egna Cleetus,IAS, Collector, South Goa H/c Kushavati District in the presence of Minister for Social Welfare and MLA of Sanguem Constituency Subhash Phal Dessai, chaired a committee meeting regarding issues faced by Project Affected Persons (PAPs) under the Salaulim Irrigation Project.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Collectors, Mamlatdars, Talathis, officials from the ISLR and WRD of Sanguem and Quepem Talukas. During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on the status of pending cases, implementation and compliance with relevant Government Orders and the grievances raised by eligible PAPs.

The committee also reviewed matters related to land allotment, occupancy rights and the progress of actions taken by the concerned departments to address the issues of the affected families. Necessary directions were issued to ensure the timely resolution of pending matters and to facilitate appropriate relief and support to the eligible PAPs.
