Porvorim: In a heartfelt farewell ceremony, Sanjeev Ahuja (IAS), the outgoing Secretary of Tourism & ITE&C, was honored by Tourism minister Rohan A. Khaunte, and other dignitaries for his remarkable contributions to Goa’s tourism sector.
Ahuja’s efforts have significantly boosted Goa’s reputation as a premier tourist destination, with initiatives like regenerative tourism, cultural preservation, and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Under his leadership, Goa won several prestigious awards, including ‘Best Destination for Resort Weddings’ at the Wed In India 2025 Awards and ‘Promoting Tourism Through Festivals’ at The Week Heritage Awards.
