Mapusa Man Arrested for Possessing Hydroponic Ganja Worth ₹7.84 Lakh
Mapusa: The Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) Police Station, Mapusa, has registered a case against Anirudh Ashok Bhogle (25), a resident of Vashi, New Mumbai, for allegedly possessing 224 grams of hydroponic ganja. The raid, conducted on February 21, led to the seizure of the contraband valued at ₹7,84,000, ₹8,000 in cash, and an Aprilia scooter (GA-03-AK-8783).
Bhogle was arrested and produced before the JMFC Court, which remanded him to eight days of police custody. The investigation is underway, led by PSI Saheen Shetye under the supervision of PI ANC Sagun Sawant and SP Nerlon, with SP ANC Sunita Sawant overseeing the case.
