” CM Sawant Speeds Up Goa’s Racing Ambitions inspects formula 4 racing at Mopa”
Pernem: Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant visited the Formula 4 Indian Championship racing site at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, and reviewed the preparations and operational readiness of the circuit along with Government officials and organizers, Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL). MLA, Pernem, Pravin Arlekar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Entertainment Society of Goa, Asvin Chandru, IAS, were also present.
The 2.064 km FIA-grade street circuit, featuring 12 corners, is designed to promote close racing and strategic battles. Scheduled for February 14-15, the event is expected to draw top drivers and teams. The event promises to create opportunities for local businesses and youth in engineering, technology, and event management ⁶ ³.
