“Pilerne Ladies Unite: A Day of Nature, Nourishment, and Empowerment”
Pilerne: A Beautiful concept of Ladies Day Out with Nature was organised at the Peacock Garden by Pilerne SHG with active support of Dy. Sarpanch Shri Ajay R Govekar. A Day of Togetherness was held in strengthening community bonds, encouraging women to connect with nature, share experiences and enjoy meaningful conversations beyond daily routines.
We were honoured by the presence of Goa Police SP Smt. Sunita Sawant, who interacted with our ladies on crucial topics like narcotics awareness and cyber security providing valuable insights on law and order.
The programme was also graced by (president ZP–North Goa) Reshma Bandodkar , Pilerne Dy.Sarpanch Ajay Govekar, Other Panch Membersnamely Ankita Naik, Ashwini Chodankar, Suvarnsing Rane, VDC Convenor Shri Karan Govekar along with our ladies and childrens.
Our ladies beautifully hosted the gathering at PeacockGarden, preparing and serving traditional authentic Goan food including brown rice, fish curry, fish fry, kismoor and chicken xacuti all lovingly cooked by our own women.
The day was filled with games, singing, interactive sessions and most importantly, a well deserved “ME time” for our village ladies giving them a refreshing break outside kitchen and family responsibilities.
