St Clara’s High School, Assonora Shine at 8th All Goa Wushu Championship
MAPUSA: St Clara’s High School, Assonora, delivered an impressive performance at the 8th All Goa State Wushu Championship, bringing laurels to the school by winning a total of 10 medals, including 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 6 Bronze medals.
The championship witnessed participation from several schools and clubs across the state, with young athletes showcasing skill, discipline and competitive spirit. The students of St Clara’s High School stood out with their dedication and strong performances across various categories.
Head Mistress Sunita Dalvi, along with P.E. Teacher Raj Gawas and Paulo Fernandes, Secretary of the Association of Goa Wushu, congratulated the medal winners for their outstanding achievement and praised their discipline, hard work and commitment to the sport. They also appreciated the efforts of the coaches and support staff for their guidance and constant encouragement.
The achievement reflects the school’s continued emphasis on encouraging students to excel not only in academics but also in sports and physical education.
