Road repair Works Commence: Calangute’s Roads Get a Facelift
Calangute, Goa – MLA Michael V. Lobo inaugurated hot mixing works behind St. Alex Church, marking a significant upgrade to the town’s infrastructure. The project aims to repair roads damaged by 11 kV underground electricity cable laying.
“This is a much-needed relief for locals and tourists alike. The upgraded roads will boost our tourism prospects and improve our quality of life,” said deputy sapanch Annie fernandes
“MLA Lobo’s commitment to upgrading Calangute’s infrastructure is commendable. We’re looking forward to more such initiatives,” said ZP Panchayat Member Franzila Rodrigues.
“The hot mixing works are just the beginning. We’re working on a comprehensive plan to upgrade Calangute’s roads and infrastructure,” said MLA Michael V. Lobo.
Tourism stakeholders are optimistic about the impact on the local economy. “Better roads mean more tourists, more business, and a thriving local economy,” said a local hotel owner.
