Panaji: Baale Tigers and Sherwin Shaw Falcons registered impressive victories in their respective league matches of the ongoing PGML 5.0 tournament at the Panjim Gymkhana ground, strengthening their positions on the points table.
In the morning encounter, Priority Titans won the toss and elected to bat first but were restricted to 138 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs by a disciplined Baale Tigers bowling attack. Atharva Kumar top-scored with a fighting 53, while Yeshwant Barde chipped in with 24 runs. For Baale Tigers, Harshal Shah and Prasad Patil were the chief destroyers, claiming three wickets each to keep the Titans in check.
