Lewandowski scores for the 15th consecutive season in the Champions League

Prague: Robert Lewandowski continues to make history! The 37-year-old Poland international scored his first Champions League goal of the season, securing Barcelona’s 4-2 win over Slavia Prague. This marks Lewandowski’s 15th consecutive season with at least one goal in Europe’s elite club competition ¹ ².

Lewandowski’s 71st-minute strike sealed the victory, despite an earlier own goal that had leveled the score at 2-2 at halftime. “Finally, the first goal came,” Lewandowski said. “Hopefully, it will get easier now” ² ³.

With 114 UEFA competition goals, Lewandowski remains third in the all-time scoring list, behind Lionel Messi (132) and Cristiano Ronaldo (145). Messi and Karim Benzema both achieved 18 successive seasons of Champions League scoring, while Ronaldo reached 16 ¹ ².
