“Mauvin Godinho Champions Entrepreneurship and Self-Reliance in Goa’s Local Economies”
Industries Minister, Mauvin Godhino chaired a Live Interaction Programme under the Swayampurna Goa Programme for Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Micro & Small Entrepreneurs, organised by the Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation, in coordination with the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce and the Department of Rural Development.
He interacted with stakeholders across Village Panchayats and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and institutional support in strengthening local economies. Emphasised the crucial role of Panchayats, BDOs, and elected representatives in ensuring effective outreach, participation, and implementation at the grassroots level, thereby reinforcing the Government’s commitment to inclusive growth and empowerment at the village level.
