BJP’s Franzila Rodrigues Wins Calangute ZP Seat
Calangute: Franzila Rodrigues, the BJP candidate, has emerged victorious in the Calangute Zilla Panchayat seat, reserved for women. Local BJP MLA Michael Lobo campaigned extensively for Rodrigues, amidst concerns over a deadly inferno at Arpora, part of the constituency ¹ ².
Rodrigues’ main competitors were Carmelina Fernandes (Congress), Ananya candolkar (RG), and Carol Fernandes (AAP).
