Goa’s Transport Minister, Shri Mauvin Godinho, cast his vote at Chicalim for the Zilla Panchayat Elections 2025, accompanied by his son Macklean Godinho. Describing the elections as a “festival of democracy,” Godinho urged citizens to participate actively, emphasizing the importance of electing representatives committed to development and good governance ¹.

Godinho expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory, citing the party’s developmental work at the village and state levels. The minister’s vote came as Goans exercised their franchise across 1,284 polling booths, with over 8.68 lakh eligible voters ¹ ².
