The MLA’s participation underscores the importance of voting in local governance.
Lobo who represents calangute constituency, urged citizens to actively participate in the electoral process, emphasizing the role of Zilla Panchayat members in grassroots development. “Every vote shapes the future of our community,” he said.
Polling in Calangute and other constituencies proceeded peacefully, with voters turning out to exercise their franchise. Results are awaited.
