GOA LAUNCHES PULSE POLIO DRIVE, AIMS TO PROTECT YOUNG ONES
Panaji, Goa – The Directorate of Health Services, Goa, rolled out the Pulse Polio Immunization Programme across the state, targeting children under 5 years. At designated booths, parents brought their little ones to receive the Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), a crucial step in safeguarding their health and future.
The drive, part of a nationwide initiative, aims to provide every child with polio protection, reinforcing Goa’s commitment to a polio-free India. Health officials and workers ensured a smooth process, making the vaccine accessible to all.
With the support of local authorities and communities, the programme is expected to reach every corner of the state, protecting the most vulnerable and ensuring a healthier tomorrow.
