Arpora night club fire : Owners Booked Tickets to Phuket ,Police Nab Delhi Partner”*
PANAJI: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ms Varsha Sharma, revealed to the media that multiple police teams have been deployed across various states to trace the remaining alleged accused in the Arpora Night Club fire tragedy. She confirmed that the Luthra brothers and Ajay Gupta – partners of Birch by Romeo Lane -are still absconding but “all alleged accused are on our radar” and we are taking every possible measures to nab them.
Goa police team has succeeded in nabbing the business partner of the Arpora Birch by Romeo Lane from Delhi Mr Ajay Gupta and the police has served blue corner notice or lookout circulars against the owners Mr Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra and are seeking Interpol help in bringing the alleged culprits of the fire that broke out in the hall and swallowed around 25 people.
The police officials investigating the case revealed that Mr Gupta is also one of the co-accused has already been in the police net is now been taken into custody in the national capital as part of the ongoing investigation. He is likely to be brought to Goa on a transfer order for interrogation and others will also be roped in if they are connected to in any kind of negligence.
Mr Gupta is from North Delhi and has also invested lot of money in the Birch by Romeo Lane. One more partner namely Mr Surinder Khosla -a British national is also being connected to the hotel but presently he is abroad. Police have also issued look out notice against him too.

The biggest challenge before the police is to bring both the Luthra brothers from Thailand to Goa.
It may be recalled that the fire broke out after the gun-short fireworks during the dance performance by the Kazakastha dancer Kristina and culminated into a towering Inferno that gobbled tourists, kitchen crew and others of the hotel and on seeing this huge tragedy both the owners of Birch by Romeo Lane at Arpora , Mr Saurabh Luthra and Mr Gaurav Luthra who took the early morning flight and fled to Thailand.
The police are making all efforts to bring the alleged culprits to India through CBI and Interpol from Thailand and in this regard the police officials revealed that the look out notices were served and are in contact with the Interpol and CBI. Out of three hotels belonging to Luthra brothers one has been boll-dozed and other has been sealed while only one is being run. The summons have been served by the police to the suspended director of panchayat and the former Goa State Pollution Control Board member secretary as part of the ongoing investigation.
