PANAJI: The Kazakistan dancer, Kristina who was performing live a few moments earlier at the Arpora Club Birch by Romeo Lane revealed in a video “how the dancing stage turned into a towering inferno that gobbled precious lives and her miraculous escape from the harrowing tragedy.” While expressing condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased, she said. She was visibly shaken while adding “It was a do or die escape situation for me and every one present there on the occasion.”
“While I was midway through my act of performance suddenly the lights went off, music stopped abruptly and a nauseating smell filled the hall and dark clouds of smoke billowing from everywhere and took the centre stage and nothing was visible but slowly breathing became difficult and people were suffocating,” she pointed out.

“Soon there was stampede of the revellers and even she could not find the exit point and was struggling to discover from where the smoke was coming in but I witnessed that people were trying to escaped the area but could not find the door “even I was confused but some one from the musical group assisted by grabbing my hand to get out of the inferno, which I alone could not have succeeded.
While recalling those moments in the hall she said “she could only hear the shouting and yelling of the people in the room but could not understand anything from that shouting and yelling. She literally collapsed on the ground when she saw video of the entire venue being enveloped by the raging flames where she was performing a few minutes before. She expressed shock and surprised over the fire incident where she was performing adding “how fast life can change.”
