In a significant development, Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza inaugurated the commencement of reinstatement works for roads damaged due to the laying of water supply distribution pipelines at Angod, Peddem, and Gawaswado. The long-pending restoration works are expected to significantly improve road conditions and ensure better connectivity for residents.
The event was attended by MMC Chairperson Priya Mishal, MMC Vice Chairperson Shri Prakash Bhivshet, Ward Councillor Shri Kayle Braganza, BJP Mapusa Mandal President Shri Yogesh Khedekar, AE Kashish Rane, and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA D’Souza reiterated his commitment to ensuring the timely completion of the project, stating that the restoration works would greatly benefit the residents of the area.
“The project is part of the government’s efforts to improve infrastructure and provide better facilities to the people” said chairperson Priya Mishal
The restoration works are expected to be completed soon, and residents are hopeful that the improved road conditions will enhance their quality of life.
