MCL 11: MCC Avengers Crush MCC Warriors by 65 Runs

Margao: MCC Avengers delivered a commanding performance to outclass MCC Warriors by 65 runs in the MCL 11 T20 encounter played at the MCC Ground, Margao.
Batting first, the Avengers posted an impressive 180/7 in 20 overs, led by explosive knocks from Venkatesh Nevagi (37 off 19), Amod Borkar (38), Vedant Naik (36 off 20) and a brisk 27 off 14* by Amlon D’Souza.
In response, MCC Warriors faltered under pressure and were bundled out for 115 in 13.4 overs. Vikas Shetty (40 off 21) and Govind Lotlikar (25) were the only notable contributors with the bat.
For the Avengers, Amod Borkar starred with a superb 3/29, well supported by Gopal Gawas (2/18) and Brijesh Prabhu (1/21). For his excellent all-round performance, Amod Borkar was named Man of the Match.
