“Goa Unleashes Young Talent: 22nd State Youth Festival Kicks Off with a Bang”
Panaji, November 26, 2025 – The 22nd State Youth Festival, a premier platform for young Goans to showcase their artistic prowess, is just around the corner. Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Ramesh Tawadkar, announced the eagerly-awaited event, scheduled to take place on December 1st and 2nd, 2025, at Kala Academy, Campal.
With the theme “Viksit Bharat Young Leader 2025-26”, the festival promises to be a spectacular celebration of talent, creativity, and innovation. The event is being organized by the Directorate of State & Youth Affairs, Govt. of Goa, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.
Speaking at a press conference, Minister Tawadkar expressed his excitement, saying, “This festival is a testament to the vibrant energy and creativity of Goa’s youth. We are committed to providing a platform for our young talents to shine and contribute to the nation’s growth.”
Director, Sports, Dr. Ajay R. Gaude, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the festival’s role in nurturing young leaders and fostering national integration. The event is expected to attract thousands of young Goans, showcasing their skills in various artistic disciplines.
The 22nd State Youth Festival is a precursor to the National Youth Festival, and will feature a range of competitions, exhibitions, and performances. With its rich cultural heritage and stunning venues, Goa is all set to host a memorable celebration of youth and talent.
