“Constitutional Commitment: Goa Celebrates Constitution Day with Pledge to Uphold Sovereignty and Integrity”
Porvorim: In a grand celebration of Constitution Day, Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, led the solemn reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India at the Secretariat, Porvorim. The event, attended by Secretaries to Govt., Senior Govt Officials, and Staff of Secretariat, was a poignant reminder of the nation’s commitment to justice, equality, and fraternity.


As the words of the Preamble echoed through the halls of governance, Dr. Candavelou reaffirmed the state’s dedication to upholding the Constitution, emphasizing its role as the guiding light for the nation’s progress. “The Constitution is not just a document, it’s a promise to ourselves and future generations,” he said.
The event served as a powerful reminder of the importance of constitutional values in shaping India’s democracy. With the nation celebrating its 73rd Constitution Day, Goa joined the national chorus, reaffirming its commitment to the principles of sovereignty, secularism, and social justice.
