MAPUSA GETS A DEVELOPMENT BOOST: Gandhi Circle to Shree Bodgeshwar Temple Stretch to Get a Makeover
Mapusa: In a significant move to enhance road infrastructure, the ongoing widening and improvement works from Gandhi Circle to Shree Bodgeshwar Temple are set to transform the daily commute for thousands. The project promises to ease traffic congestion, improve connectivity, and most importantly, enhance safety for commuters.


Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza, along with authorities, conducted an inspection of the stretch and is working tirelessly to upgrade Mapusa’s road network.
“The project is a crucial step towards improving the overall infrastructure of Mapusa,” said MLA D’Souza. “We are committed to ensuring that the work is completed on time and meets the highest standards of quality.”
The improvement works are part of a larger initiative to boost connectivity and economic growth in the region. The project is expected to benefit not only the local residents but also the thousands of tourists who visit Mapusa every year. As the project nears completion, residents and visitors alike can look forward to a smoother, safer, and more enjoyable journey.
The project involves widening the road, improving drainage systems, and upgrading street lighting, among other features. The project is expected to be completed by March 2026.
