“BIRSA MUNDA’S LEGACY RISES: TAWADKAR LEADS PREPARATIONS FOR TRIBAL ICON’S 150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY”
Margao:Minister for Tribal Welfare, Shri Ramesh Tawadkar chaired a meeting regarding preparation for commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Collectorate South Goa, Margao.
Ms. Egna Cleetus, IAS Collector, South Goa , Additional Collector II and Shri Nilesh Dhaigonkar, Director of Tribal Welfare were also present during the meeting.
In the meeting, directions were issued to all line departments and organizers to ensure a smooth and impactful celebration. Further it was emphasised the appointment of a nodal officer at each venue for day-to-day coordination, the need for a detailed minute-by-minute programme of events, the deployment of police personnel to manage law and order, medical teams for emergency response at every location, a comprehensive parking plan to manage vehicle movement and the identification of multiple entry and exit points to ensure a seamless visitor experience.
