E- Waste collection drive at Navelim, a success!
MJF Lion Joseph DCosta-DC for Ewaste Collection Awareness and Lions Club of Navelim held an Inaugural E-waste collection drive at Rosary Church,Navelim compound which evoked a big response from the parishioners of Navelim
The E-waste collection drive was ably supported by MJF Lion Trevor Mascarenhas and other Lion members.The launch of the electronic waste collection drive was also attended by Lions Clubs Dist Governor Lion JaiAmol Naik, DCS Lion Kirti Naik, PDG Lion Sasindran Nair, Region Chairperson Lion Dharmu Raut Desai as well as the Parish Priest of Navelim Church Fr.Gabriel Coutinho who praised the drive.The massive waste collected included used computers, music systems, TV sets, Printers, phones phones, UPS systems etc.The E- waste collected was disposed off through a Govt Apporoved Waste Collection Agency.
