CM DISTRIBUTES “MHAJE GHAR YOJANA” FORMS AT RAVINDRA BHAVAN, SANKHALI

Bicholim: The Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant distributed the forms under ‘Mhaje Ghar’ Yojana at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali sunday

Others graced the occasion were Shri Ankit Yadav, IAS, Collector, North Goa, Shri Nehal Talaunekar, Dy. Collector Bicholim, Shri Gopal Surlakar, ZP Member and Sarpanch of various Panchayats in Sankhali and others.

Addressing the people, the Chief Minister appealed to the people to avail the benefits of this scheme, stating that the Mhaje Ghar scheme will help to reduce conflicts in the villages. He added that these forms will be made available shortly in all panchayats and Deputy Collector offices. He also mentioned that the Nodal Officers have been appointed to expedite the processing of applications.

The Chief Minister presented the scheme in a very professional manner to the residents of Sankhali and surrounding areas, who attended in large numbers. He also informed that applicants would receive a house repair certificate within three days and a house separation certificate within seven days to the residents.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah had recently unveiled ‘Mhaje Ghar Yojana’ scheme at a ceremony held in Taleigao, intending to legalise homes built and confer ownership rights on long-standing Goan residents.
