Mapusa : Renowned writer Dr. Gurudas Nataeker emphasized the importance of financial literacy among students, stating that it is a timely need. He was speaking at the release of Balmat Foundation’s Diwali edition in Mhapusa.
Dr. Nataeker said that just like teaching children to read and write, it’s equally essential to educate them about financial literacy through pocket money. This helps them understand the value of money and develop skills to manage their finances effectively.
