DEPUTY COLLECTOR AND MAMLETDAR LEAD JOINT INSPECTION AT FATORDA STADIUM FOR ACL2 CLASH”
Fatorda: In a proactive move to ensure the safety and security of fans and players alike, the Deputy Collector, South-I, along with the Mamlatdar of Salcete, conducted a joint inspection of the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda. The inspection, which was attended by all line departments and organizers, aimed to identify potential risks and make necessary arrangements to prevent any untoward incidents during the upcoming AFC Champions League Two match between Al Nassr Club and FC Goa on October 22, 2025.
The inspection team reviewed the stadium’s infrastructure, emergency response plans, and security protocols to ensure that they are adequate and effective. With the match expected to draw a large crowd, the authorities are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations.
The team assessed the stadium’s emergency response plan, including the location of first aid stations, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits. They also evaluated the security arrangements, including CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and personnel deployment, to ensure a safe and secure environment for fans.
The authorities are working hard to ensure that the event is conducted safely and smoothly, and fans are eagerly anticipating the match, especially with the prospect of watching star-studded Al Nassr Club, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, take on FC Goa.
