Goa Archbishop extends Diwali greetings, calls for communal harmony
PANAJI: (Nov 7) Archbishop of Goa and Daman Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao on Saturday extended Diwali greetings to the Hindu community, stressing the need to strengthen communal harmony, fraternity, and mutual respect in the state.
In a message issued along with Auxiliary Bishop Simiao Fernandes, the Archbishop said Diwali reminds people of “the triumph of light over darkness and truth over untruth.”
