Sarkar Tumchya Daari Programme Held at Sanguem to Address Public Grievances

“Mhaje Ghar Scheme Must Proceed Without Unnecessary Hurdles,” Says CM Dr. Pramod Sawant

Sanguem, 21st October, 2026: Sarkar Tumchya Daari initiative under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa programme was held in Sanguem, providing residents an opportunity to bring their concerns directly to the government. CM Dr. Pramod Sawant interacted with citizens and listened to their grievances, enabling the concerned departments to take note of issues requiring attention.

Residents highlighted concerns related to water supply, forest matters, road conditions and other civic issues affecting their daily lives. These included matters requiring coordination between departments and attention to essential services. The issues raised formed the basis for discussions on improving local facilities and addressing difficulties faced by residents.

Addressing the gathering, CM Dr. Pramod Sawant stressed that the Mhaje Ghar Scheme must be implemented smoothly, without unnecessary administrative hurdles for eligible beneficiaries. He directed officers to provide the required assistance and process applications without avoidable delays. He also called for a responsive approach to public service delivery so that people can access government schemes and benefits without difficulty.

CM Dr. Sawant also called for improvements in road conditions and attention to water and forest-related concerns. On land-related matters, he said the government was ready to facilitate the resolution of pending tenancy and mundkarial cases. A special camp will be organised at the Deputy Collector’s Office this coming Saturday to help residents with their land-related issues.

Sarkar Tumchya Daari initiative provides a direct link between citizens and the administration, allowing local concerns to be brought to the attention of the government. The interaction also reinforced the need for departments to coordinate their efforts and ensure that people receive appropriate assistance.

The programme was attended by Social Welfare Minister Shri Subhash Phal Dessai, Deputy Collector, concerned government officials and other dignitaries
