CM Pramod Sawant Listens to Citizens’ Grievances at Sarkar Tumchya Dari in Rivona
SANGUEM: In a direct outreach to the people, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant interacted with citizens and heard their grievances under the Sarkar Tumchya Dari programme at Rivona, Sanguem on Tuesday.The programme, which translates to taking the government to the people’s doorstep, saw residents from Rivona and nearby villages raising issues concerning roads, water supply, welfare schemes, land matters and other civic needs. The Chief Minister patiently heard each delegation and directed officials present at the venue to look into the grievances and ensure timely resolution. Several issues were addressed on the spot, while others were noted for follow up action through the concerned departments.
The programme was held in the presence of Social Welfare Minister Shri Subhash Phal Dessai and senior officials of various government departments, who were available to respond to queries related to their respective sectors.Speaking during the interaction, the Chief Minister reiterated that Sarkar Tumchya Dari is not merely a grievance redressal camp, but a commitment to make governance accessible, transparent and responsive, especially for citizens in rural and remote areas who find it difficult to approach government offices.Residents appreciated the initiative, saying the opportunity to speak directly with the Chief Minister and have officials hear them together saved time and gave them hope of quick action.The event underlined the government’s continued focus on taking administration beyond office walls and into the villages of Goa.
