In Pernem, the CM Didn’t Give a Speech, He Gave an Ear
PERNEM: The ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ programme lived up to its name on Saturday when Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant sat face-to-face with the public at SSA Government College, Virnoda, and heard their grievances directly, without any file or middleman in between.Organised as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, the outreach turned the college campus into a people’s darbar, where citizens voiced issues concerning their daily lives and the administration responded on the spot

.Joining the Chief Minister on the dais were MLA Pravin Arlekar and MLA Jit Arolkar, along with Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Secretary (Civil Supplies) Shri. Sanjiv Gadkar, IAS, and other senior government officials. The presence of top bureaucrats ensured that grievances were not just heard but immediately logged, categorised, and forwarded to the concerned departments for timely action. For the people of Pernem, it was a rare moment where the government came to them, not the other way around.
