’Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Brings Citizens’ Grievances Directly to CM Dr. Pramod Sawant in Mapusa

Mapusa, October 3, 2026: Bringing governance closer to the people, the ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ initiative was held at Pragati Sankul Hall, near Bodgeshwar Temple, Mapusa, under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, providing citizens an opportunity to directly interact with Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant and raise their concerns. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from citizens.


Taking governance directly to the people, citizens were given appointments on a first-come, first-served basis to present their grievances and concerns. Officials from various government departments were also present, enabling the issues raised by citizens to be examined in their presence and facilitating necessary action.
Addressing the grievances raised by citizens, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant directed the concerned officials to examine the issues and take necessary action at the earliest. He stressed that citizens’ concerns should not merely be heard but should be followed by concrete and timely action, ensuring an effective response to the issues brought before the administration.
Ensuring direct grievance redressal, the interaction enabled citizens to present issues related to various matters directly before CM Dr. Sawant, while the presence of concerned officials helped in understanding the issues and determining the way forward. The initiative further strengthened direct communication between citizens and the administration and reinforced the focus on responsive and accessible governance.
The programme was attended by Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, MLA, Thivim and Minister for Fisheries; Smt. Delilah Lobo, MLA, Siolim; Shri Joshua D’Souza, Deputy Speaker, Goa Legislative Assembly and MLA, Mapusa; along with officers from various government departments and other officials.
