Calangute Panchayat Intensifies Coastal Cleanliness Drive; Cobra Vaddo Beach Cleared of Plastic Waste

CALANGUTE: The Village Panchayat of Calangute continued its ongoing beach cleaning initiative with a cleanliness drive at Cobra Vaddo, Calangute on Saturday .

The drive was led by Panch Member Sapnesh Vaigankar, with participation from panchayat workers and local volunteers. Large quantities of plastic waste and other litter were collected from the shoreline as part of the effort to keep the coastline clean, beautiful and plastic-free.

The Panchayat has extended sincere appreciation to all who contributed their time and effort to the initiative and has appealed to residents and tourists to cooperate in maintaining cleanliness and to avoid single-use plastic on the beaches” said panch member swapnesh Vaigankar
