Goa: CEO says 88 of 97 left-out voters have filed Form 6, applications accepted
PANAJI: (Oct 2) Amid an intense debate over the deletion of voters from electoral lists under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), the office of Goa’s Chief Electoral Officer has clarified that 88 of the 97 voters who were left out have already filed Form 6, with their applications accepted.
Form 6 is the application form used by eligible citizens to seek inclusion of their names in the electoral roll as new voters, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI)
The Goa CEO on Thursday shared the status report of 97 left-out cases, saying 88 have filed Form 6 and their forms have been accepted, while three are Portuguese passport holders and six voters are “currently outside India”.
