Women Empowerment Push: CM Opens Mahila Resource Centre at Chicalim
Vasco – Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Saturday inaugurated the Mahila Resource Centre & Mahila Bhavan – “Weaves of Goan Natives” at Chicalim. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also virtually laid the foundation stone for the Skills Centre, launched the “Mauve” brand and released a Coffee Table Book.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the initiative will further strengthen women empowerment and promote Goan native weaves and self-help groups. Panchayat Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho, MLAs Sankalp Amonkar, Krishna Daji Salkar and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
