Goa extends beach shack policy by 1 year, licences to be issued from Sept 10

PANAJI: (Sep 9) The Goa government has extended its beach shack policy by one year, with the Tourism Department set to begin issuing licences to shack operators from September 10, officials said on Wednesday.

The early renewal process is aimed at ensuring that beach shacks are operational well ahead of the tourist season, Tourism Minister Rohan A Khaunte said.
