Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza Joins Hundreds in BJYM’s ‘Run for Viksit Goa’ on Porvorim Flyover

Mapusa: Mapusa MLA and Deputy Speaker Joshua D’Souza participated in the ‘Run for Viksit Goa’, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Goa, held on the newly constructed Porvorim flyover on Sunday morning. The event saw enthusiastic participation from hundreds of youth and fitness enthusiasts, transforming the new flyover into a vibrant track celebrating health, stamina and an active lifestyle.

The run, aimed at promoting fitness and the vision of a developed Goa, was flagged off in the early hours of the morning. Participants displayed great sporting spirit throughout the route.

Speaking after the run, MLA Joshua D’Souza congratulated the BJYM Goa team for the initiative. “Congratulations to the entire BJYM Goa team for organising an engaging event that brought people together through sport and encouraged the culture of fitness in Goa. The simple act of running goes a long way in building stamina and endurance, while keeping the body active and the mind refreshed,” he said.The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners and participants were felicitated for their sporting spirit.
