CM Sawant Launches Goa Ujjwal Yojana 2026, Announces 3 Free LPG Cylinders for Eligible Households

Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant in the presence of Union Minister of State for Power, Shripad Naik, Secretary (Civil Supplies),  Sanjiv M. Gadkar, IAS, Director, Civil Suplies and Consumer Affairs,  Jayant Tari launched the Goa Ujjwala Yojana, 2026 during the Swayampurna Goa Live Interaction programme held at respective Village Panchayats and Municipalities across the State, bringing the new LPG financial assistance scheme closer to beneficiaries.

Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive financial assistance equivalent to the cost of 3 domestic LPG cylinders every financial year, backed by a ₹100 crore provision by the Government of Goa.
