Sacred Shravan Rituals Held in a Spiritually Charged and Devotional Atmosphere

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Girish Chodankar Attends the Ceremony and Seeks the Blessings of Sadguru Swamiji

Panaji, August 30, 2026: The sacred Shravan rituals organised by Shri Datt Padmanabh Peeth, Tapobhoomi Gurupith – Goa, were solemnly and devoutly performed in an atmosphere filled with spiritual fervour, devotion and divine grace.

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Girish Chodankar graced the sacred occasion with his presence along with General Secretary Pradip Naik, District President Rajesh Verekar, Spokesperson Amit Palekar, Youth Congress Press Archit Naik and others paid obeisance to the revered Sadguru and sought the blessings of Swamiji. He expressed his reverence for the rich spiritual traditions of Sanatan Dharma and emphasised the importance of preserving and nurturing the values of faith, संस्कार, righteousness and spiritual discipline in society.

The auspicious observances held during the Shravan month included Gopuja, Veda Utsarjan, Panchagavya Snan, Mruttika Snan, Tarpan, Yajnopavita Dharan, Veda Upakarma, Sabhadipadan, Aarti, Darshan and Mahaprasad, all performed with due reverence and adherence to sacred tradition.

Conducted in the divine presence of the Sadguru and amidst the resonant chanting of sacred mantras, the ceremony became a profound confluence of devotion, knowledge, spiritual discipline and cultural heritage.
