PTA Awareness Session Held at St. Mary’s Mapusa Under ‘Safe & Seen’ Initiative
Mapusa: As part of ‘Safe & Seen’, a Child Rights and Safety Initiative undertaken in collaboration with SCAN Goa, a PTA awareness session was held at St. Mary’s Convent High School, Mapusa.The session was led by Adv. Emidio Desouza Pinho and focused on helping teachers better understand the challenges children may face, identify signs that may need attention, and respond with care and sensitivity.
The session also highlighted the importance of open communication between children, teachers and parents, so that concerns can be recognised and addressed at the right time.The initiative underlined that creating a safe and supportive environment around children is a shared responsibility and strengthening awareness among teachers and parents is an important step towards ensuring that every child feels safe, heard and supported.
