Sanskrit Day Celebrated at People’s High School
Panaji: People’s High School, Panaji, celebrated Sanskrit Day with enthusiasm to highlight the richness, significance and timeless heritage of the Sanskrit language.
The programme featured chanting of Stotras and Shlokas, along with an informative presentation on the significance of Sanskrit alphabets. Various competitions, including Subhashit Pathantar, Logo Making and Bookmark Making, were organised to encourage students to learn and appreciate the language.
A lively Sanskrit Quiz was also conducted, providing students with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Sanskrit and explore its rich literary and cultural heritage.
The celebration emphasised the importance of preserving and promoting Sanskrit among the younger generation.
